Miley Cyrus identifies as pansexual and has been a voice for the non-binary movement for years. Coming out to her mother in her early teens, Miley has refused to be labelled or constrained by gender stereotypes.
Miley has been courageous and honest in sharing her message about modern gender beliefs. Miley has stated that she feels that people should fall in love with people, not gender or looks.
Openly non-binary or ‘queer’, she has enjoyed heterosexual relationships saying that this does not rule out same sex relationships, nor does it mean that she no longer finds same sex people attractive.
"Relationships and partnerships in a new generation - I don't think they have so much to do with sexuality or gender.
"Sex is actually a small part, and gender is a very small, almost irrelevant part of relationships."
